Café Kompassi is summer café located by the outside Kaivopuisto Park in Helsinki. The café serves warm drinks, bakery products and soft ice.

There are 12 rug washing places in Helsinki,all located on the sea shores of the city, except for one. The rug washing places are open to all, and available from May to September.

At the rug washing places it is possible to wash the rugs and at the same time enjoy a sunny, warm summer day, often in the company of others like-minded.

Mattolaituri is a sea-side restaurant on the shore of Kaivopuisto. It is possible to admire the magnificent sea views from either the restaurant's own sandy beach while sitting on a beach chair or relaxing on the upstairs lounge sofas. The restaurant offers eg. ice cream, summer drinks and snacks. At weekends, DJs play and entertain the guests.

Luoto (Klippan in Swedish) is a small island just outside Eteläsatama, the south harbour. In the wooden villa from 1898 by architect Selim A.Lindqvist, is today a summer restaurant.

A connection boat operates from the pier on the south side of the Olympic terminal.
