Moving to a new country is daunting and when you’re in a new place it’s hard to know where to start looking for jobs. Thankfully, Helsinki is full of inspiring job opportunities and it’s home to a booming start up scene. And the city has two great job-seeking resources that are designed to help you get started.

International House Helsinki

International House Helsinki is a centre for international newcomers to find information about settling into life in Helsinki. The centre includes employment services, which offer personal job seeking guidance as well as information about the job market in Helsinki and guidance on Helsinki’s online jobseekers system. You can also register as an official jobseeker there.

International House Helsinki’s employment services are open at Albertinkatu 25 on Monday-Friday from 9am-12pm and 1-4pm. Information is available in Finnish, English, Arabic, Somali, Dari, Farsi, French and Berber.
