<p>There are 12 rug washing places in Helsinki,all located on the sea shores of the city, except for one. The rug washing places are open to all, and available from May to September.

<p>At the rug washing places it is possible to wash the rugs and at the same time enjoy a sunny, warm summer day, often in the company of others like-minded.</p>
