Nuuksio National Park Hike
<p>Nuuksio National Park is located in Espoo and it is only 30 km from Helsinki city centre. The national park is a great place to see and enjoy the typical Finnish nature; spectacular lakes, beautiful vast forests, rugged landscapes with various trails. The national park is a testament to how important it is to be living right next to vast nature to the Finns.</p>
<p>The rocky lake upland is home to many species that thrive in old-growth forests, vibrant meadows, valleys, and ponds. There are 30 lakes in the area with different sizes and shapes that provide spectacular views. This green oasis in the capital region has also many nature trails with varying length and difficulty.</p>
<p>The benefits of walking/hiking in the forest are countless; not only it cleanses your senses and reduces your stress, it also strengthens your immune system, improves cardiovascular and metabolic health, provides simple and fun way to work out and boost your overall well-being.</p>
<p>In our Nuuksio National Park Hike, we will be following a carefully designed 8 km trail with moderate difficulty. This trail literally has best parts that Nuuksio has to offer! We will pass by beautiful small ponds, diverse terrain with some hills, old-growth forest, picturesque vantage points, and also camping sites.</p>
