Enjoy the sunny summer days by playing padel by the sea at the PadelCenter in Hernesaarenranta. Padel is a sport which combines features of both tennis and squash. Time slots are booked via the webpages. Also rackets can be booked at the same time if needed.

Kukkis is the first surplus flower shop in Finland, possibly in the whole world.

Kukkis receives their plants and flowers from plant supermarkets and grocery stores, where the amount of waste can be up to 40%, mostly ending up in mixed waste bins. By supporting the shop you actually concretely reduce the carbon footprint.

The Mental Museum located at the main building of the former Lapinlahti Hospital, a hospital for psychiatric care closed in 2008. The museum presents history and stories from the hospital, photos, objects used in the hospital and art work. The museum is run by the Pro Lapinlahti-mental health association.

In the building also a cafe and a lunch restaurant. In the area also eg. a sauna, handicraft shop, and a multi purpose space Venetsia.

The new Jätkäsaari sports park artificial ice rink, opened in early 2020, serves in the beginning ice skaters, sticks and touring skates will be approved later on.
