Unga Teatern, ent. Skolteatern, perustettiin kiertäväksi lasten- ja nuortenteatteriksi jo vuonna 1960. 57 vuotta täyttävä lasten- ja nuorten teatteri on lajinsa vanhin teatteri Suomessa. Vuonna 1985 teatteri sai kiinteän näyttämön Espoosta. Esityksiä on niin ruotsiksi kuin suomeksikin.
