<p>Virkki Home Museum, located in Töölö, presents housing and design from the 1940's to 1960's in an appartment building designed by Elsi Borg. Counselor in crafts Tyyne-Kerttu Virkki lived in the apartment from its completion in 1952 until the year 2000. Tyyne-Kerttu Virkki did her life's work as promoter and preserver of handicraft tradition and culture.</p>
