<p>Salmi recreation area is a popular recreation area located in Vichti on the northern side of Nuuksio National Park.

<p>Several marked trails are suitable for hiking, jogging or just walking during the summer. During the winter trails are servings as skiing tracks. There are also fixed orienteering points.
</p>
<p>There is also an area for camping with tents as well as a camper area, cooking shelters, a sauna for rent and café Pohjoinen Pirtti.</p>
