Samuli Edelmann is an exceptional and independent interpreter whose wide repertoire from art albums to pop music finds its way into Finnish hearts without fail, as evidenced by the more than half a million albums sold during his career.

In 1997, Edelmann released a rousing album that rose to cult fame. Vaiheet contains compositions by his father Toni Edelmann to texts by the likes of Goethe, Hesse and Shakespeare. The album was recorded as a grand production with a symphony orchestra in Paris. After the death of Toni Edelmann in 2017, Samuli returned to the catalogue of his composer father and began planning a sequel to Vaiheet. Realised with a more intimate ensemble, Vaiheet 2 was released in 2019.

At Huvila, Edelmann will perform moving songs from the albums Vaiheet and Vaiheet 2 with a grand orchestra.
