You can jam at Pihlaja's Christmas concert <p>You can jam at Pihlaja's Christmas concert</p><p>Many kinds of rhythms echo in the concert held in Myllypuro church. For example, the choir's artistic director Karla-Maria Toiviainen's adaptation of the song "Varpunen joulaamuna" is included.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>The concert features guest players and singers:<br>"We are very happy to have wonderful musicians on stage with us again. Among the guests, saxophonist Alina Pettinen is on stage with us for the first time," says Toiviainen.<br>Other guest musicians are pianist Mikko Pettinen, clarinetist Markus Tienhaara and singer Minni Tuomisalo. The choir's soloists are Emilia Sainisalo and Kira-Mia Tuisku and Anna Jalo as accompanist.<br>&nbsp;</p><p>Finnish Women's Choir Association Choir of the Year 2022 Pihlaja Women's Choir celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Almost 40 women sing in the choir practicing in Myllypuro, Helsinki. The choir's mission is to offer its singers and audience experiences in female choral music and art.
