Multiciultural Independence Day

Let's celebrate the Finnish Independence Day with a multicultural event! (LIVE + ONLINE) <p>In the Multicultural Independence Day celebration event, we welcome and celebrate all diverse perspectives, cultures and values. For MIP2023, everyone, regardless of background, can enter the open door of opportunity to celebrate Finland’s 106th independence.&nbsp;</p><p>The event will start with the program, which starts at 13:00 and ends at 15:00. After the program there's time for refreshments, and the whole event ends at 17:00. This year, similarly to the previous year’s celebration, the program can also be watched online from the comfort of your home .</p><p>This year’s MIP program includes a lovely variety of eccentrically cultural and artistic performances, such as traditional Latvian, Filipino and Latin-American music and dances. The artistic program will also involve a number of poetry, music, and comic performances. We also are looking forward for a number of valuable spoken words from respected representatives of the multicultural communities in Finland.
