In honour of the Paris Olympic Games and International Women's Rights Day, the French Institute is organizing a photo exhibition of the position of women <p>In honour of the Paris Olympic Games and International Women's Rights Day, the French Institute is organizing a photo exhibition of the position of women at the Olympic Games throughout history.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Les Elles des Jeux (Women of the Games) photo exhibition presents the journey of women in the history of the Olympics, from a complete ban on participation to the fight for equality.&nbsp;</p><p>Leading pioneers such as Alice Milliat, who founded the Women's Olympic Games in 1922, both French and international sports big names such as Christine Caron, Marie-José Pérec, Laure Manaudou or more recent stars such as Clarisse Agbegnenou and Simone Biles belong to this 130-year-long journey.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>French Institute of Finland</p><p>28.2.-15.3.2024</p><p>Free entry</p>
