<p>Laulu-Miehet Male Voice Choir 110th Anniversary Concert</p><p>Laulu-Miehet performs works of famous Finnish composers commissioned or premiered by Laulu-Miehet during their 110-year life in the Finnish choral scene. The concert is one of the most important choral events in Helsinki this spring. </p><p>The concerts includes works of e.g. Jean Sibelius, Toivo Kuula and Leevi Madetoja and many other Finnish choral composers. </p><p>In the second part of the concert Ylioppilaskunnan Soittajat (Helsinki University Symphony Orchestra) takes the stage for the performance of three rarely heard Finnish works for male choir and orchestra: Koskenlaskijan morsiamet (Sibelius), Aslak Smaukka (Madetoja) and Karhunpyynti (Kalervo Tuukkanen).</p><p> </p><p>Laulu-Miehet Choir, cond.
