She is the author of the internationally acclaimed City of Kings trilogy, consisting of novels&nbsp;The Theory of Flight (The Sunday Times&nbsp;Fiction Prize),&nbsp;The History of Man, and&nbsp;The Quality of Mercy.</p><p>In 2022 Ndlovu received the Wyndham-Campbell Award at the Yale University for her literary work. The board describes her as follows:</p><blockquote><p>Siphiwe Gloria Ndlovu is both a chronicler and a conjurer whose soaring imagination creates a Zimbabwean past made of anguish and hope, of glory and despair: the story of the generations born at the crossroads of a country’s history.</p></blockquote><p>Currently, Ndlovu is a Visiting Professor at the University of the Arts in Helsinki.
