<p>Helsinki Seagulls plays against Lahti Basketball at Töölö Sports Hall.</p><p>Helsinki Seagulls - or Gulls, as they’re called among friends - was founded in 2013 and has played in Finland's men’s basketball league Korisliiga since 2014. The team won its first league championship in 2023-24. During its short history, the team has placed third in the championships four times in 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2020-21 and 2021-22. Seagulls gained its first gold medal ever by winning the Finnish Cup in January 2020, followed by cup wins also in 2021 and 2022 and a silver medal in 2023.
