Bagels are baked every morning on the spot using a traditional recipe, i.e. first they are boiled in boiling water and then fried at high heat.&nbsp;</p><p>In addition to the bagels themselves, the fillings, which are made from quality ingredients from small producers in the surrounding areas, also play an important role.&nbsp;</p><p>Food weeks' special bagels highlight ingredients that are not necessarily very popular - even if you wish they were. Sörkan Rinkula has aim to bring multipurpose domestic classics back to people's minds.&nbsp;</p><p>For the last few years, smoked salmon from Kalatukku Fisupojat has been used in bagels, and the dry-cured salmon has been prepared in their own kitchen.&nbsp;</p><p>For the food weeks, there has been selected also wild fish that are considered more like trash fish from the fish wholesaler's &nbsp;selections.&nbsp;</p><p>Another specialty is the veggie bagels by gardener-chef Elias Pusa, who has been running food courses of Hyötykasviyhdistys.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Sörkan Rinkula, Vilhonvuorenkatu 10</p><p>24.5.-16.6.2024</p>
