<p>Estonian handbell ensemble Campanelli will be performing at Temppeliaukio Church their program “A Christmas Story,” presenting classical music in various styles and popular modern melodies in an exotic interpretation. </p><p>The charming sound of 140 bells introduces a new side to the works of well-known composers and restores inner balance. After the concert, everyone can try their hand at setting the mood for Christmas by playing the handbells that have enticed listeners across the world for centuries. </p><p>Handbells appeared in England around the turn of the 17th century.
