<p>This excursion is an easy and safe way to enjoy the peace and beauty of winter nature, gain skating experience and ice skills. No previous skating experience or training is required. Guided by an experienced and trained professional who knows the best routes and conditions.<br />
The skating tour is made according to the wishes of the client.</p>
<p>Level of difficulty: Depending on the needs and abilities of the participants. The aim is for the client to enjoy the peace and scenery of winter nature.</p>
<p>Skating area: Particularly safe ice skating areas will be chosen. The organizer of the tour knows the best conditions and areas. The stunning seascapes of East Helsinki are preferred for ice skating. The excursion usually starts from Helsingin Retkiluistelu's office at Kallandenniementie 35.</p>
<p>Price includes: skating and safety equipment: hiking skates, monos, snorkels, whistle, ice poles, ice-measuring device, helmet, knee pads, floating rucksack, throwing line. Guidance/teaching. Handing over of equipment and instruction in its use. Ice safety information. Accident insurance.</p>
<p>Weather: conditions may sometimes necessitate a change of departure point. This happens surprisingly rarely. If sea ice does not permit skating, the excursion will take place on natural ice or ploughed tracks on nearby lakes. If the weather does not allow skating at all, other alternative nature sports can be offered such as kicksparking or snowshoeing.</p>
