9.-12.5.2024 Arktika Sailing

<p>During the trip on the Svanhild sailing ship, you can see the migration of hundreds of thousands of birds nesting in the arctic tundra from the best place!</p>
<p>Departure: Thursday 9.5. at 14:00 from Halkolaituri in Helsinki<br />
Return: Sunday 12.5. around 14:00 to Halkolaituri in Helsinki</p>
<p>On Thursday, Svanhild heads towards the eastern archipelago via Harmaja and Söderskär to Pirttisaari. On Friday morning, you will hike on the island, after which you will sail to the outer archipelago of Pellinki via Onas and Emäsalo. On Saturday, migrating birds will be observed from the island and in the evening we will sail along the inner archipelago of Sipoo to Norkullalandet. Sunday's journey home takes place in the inner archipelago via Vuosaari harbor and Hevossalmi back to Helsinki. The route plan is preliminary and may change depending on the weather and the wishes of the participants. A guide also comes along on the Arktika sailing.</p>
<p>WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?<br />
Arktika sailing is intended for everyone, as no previous sailing experience is required to participate. However, if you wish, you can participate in the sailing activity throughout the trip, with the guidance of our professional crew, of course.</p>
<p>Sailing is an excellent opportunity for those interested in marine nature and the archipelago, it is a photographer's dream and an experience for first-timers as well as experienced nature enthusiasts.</p>
