Sustainability
All major conference venues in Helsinki have an environmental certificate and a strong commitment to a sustainable society. Finlandia Hall follows the ISO 14001 environmental management system in all its operations. The venue also meets the criteria of the WWF’s Green Office environmental initiative. Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo & Convention Center has also been granted the ISO 14001 environmental management certification. They work hard to minimise the negative environmental impacts of operations: key environmental goals are cutting energy consumption, reducing the amount of waste and recycling 100% of the waste generated within the premises.
