Paja&Bureau is a communal workspace and houses several creative professionals from different fields. The space comprises a design studio, workshop spaces and a showroom. It also hosts different events, launch and opening parties, workshops and screenings as well as concerts.
Contemporary, experimental exhibitions: paintings and painting based installations, changing every third week. Artists are selected on the basis of applications by the Exhibition Committee, which consists of artists.

Asbestos Art Space is an open city space created for events of the entire range of art and culture founded by the Asbestos collective, an artist run collective.
There are over 60 residents of different art forms working at the art quarters, Taidekortteli, of Roihupelto, eg. artists, ceramic artists, designers, graphic designers, sculptors, photographers, writers etc.
The area and studios open to public during Open door-events, usually held in autumn.
At the corner of Kalliola setlementtitalo, in the corner of Sturenkatu and Kirstinkatu, there is a glass cube called Mutteri, which works as a street gallery.
The Suvilahti graffiti wall, opposite of the Kattilahalli building, is open for all to paint on. The graffiti wall was opened in May 2019.
The metallic wall is 3 x 100m in size.
There's also a shop and gallery selling graffiti artist equipment in the area called Make Your Mark.

The spacious hotel rooms of Hanaholmen are decorated in Nordic style and are filled with natural light. Each room offers a view of unique maritime nature.
