Cafe Kobben

Katajanokanluoto is a small island open for public just outside Helsinki city centre.

Cafe Kobben on the island offers delicious pizza baked in a real Italian gas fired pizza oven, cold and hot beverages and sweet and savoury delicacies.

Café Anneberg

Cafe Anneberg, a summer cafe open each Sunday, is located in one of the oldest villas in Helsinki and near the place where Helsinki was originally founded. Villa Anneberg is surrounded by oaks on a small hill. There is a pony stable and a gardening area for useful, edible plants next to the Villa Anneberg.

Helsingin Jäätelötehdas, ice cream kiosks

Helsingin Jäätelötehdas is one of the oldest ice cream factories still running in Finland. The Italian brothers Magi founded Helsinki's first ice cream factory on Keskuskatu in 1922. The factory, now located in Espoo, is still today run by the third generation of the Magi family.

There are three Helsingin Jäätelötehdas ice cream kiosks in Kaivopuisto park (Merisatamanranta, Mattolaituri and Kompassitori) and one at Eteläinen Hesperiankatu.

Mattolaituri

Mattolaituri is a sea-side restaurant on the shore of Kaivopuisto. It is possible to admire the magnificent sea views from either the restaurant's own sandy beach while sitting on a beach chair or relaxing on the upstairs lounge sofas. The restaurant offers eg. ice cream, summer drinks and snacks. At weekends, DJs play and entertain the guests.
