Roihuvuori Cherry Park - Kirsikkapuisto

<p>Kirsikkapuisto (Cherry Park, Sakura Park), opened in 2007, is part of the Roihuvuori green area. There are 152 pink blossomed cherry trees in the park that were planted following sponsorship from the Japanese community in Helsinki. In spring the Japanese Hanami festival is celebrated here when the trees are in bloom. The festival takes place when the cherry trees are in blossom, so the exact dates vary each year according to weather conditions.</p>
