Ainola, Home of Jean Sibelius

<p>Ainola in Järvenpää was the home of composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957) and his family for over 60 years. It still looks exactly as it did in his time and has a large collection of works by his artist friends. The log building was designed by architect Lars Sonck and completed in 1904. Jean and Aino Sibelius were buried in the Ainola garden.</p>
