<p>The YARD is an independent, locally run hostel with wide smiles - right in the heart of Helsinki.

<p>The hostel is located in an old idyllic building on Kalevankatu street in the city centre. The area is crammed with great restaurants, cafés, bars, shops and sights. Stockmann department store and Forum shopping centre are right next to the hostel.

<p>The facilities are newly renovated. The interior is relaxed and trendy, combining local craftmanship and urban garden. There are eleven different sized rooms, both dorms and private rooms, and a large lounge to hang out in with your friends or make new ones, plus a shared kitchen.</p>
