<p>Restaurant Pihlajasaari is located on Pihlajasaari island, a popular recreational area, only 10 minutes by boat from Kaivopuisto shore. The fully-licenced café-restaurant of the island has served customers since 1929 in an old wooden villa, Villa Hällebo, from 1883.<br />
There is an excellent view of the open sea from the front terrace situated on natural rock, whereas from the smaller terrace there is a nice view of Helsinki.

<p>The connection ferry to Pihlajasaari leaves from Merisatamanranta behind Cafe Carusel and from Ruoholahti. On the island there is a guest harbour for those who come with their own boat.</p>
