Kortteli

The buzzing Kortteli restaurant complex on the fifth floor of the Kamppi Shopping Centre offers Sunday treats for all tastes. Special brunch menus are offered by La Torrefazzione (10am-2pm).  Complete menus are offered by and POBRE (12pm-6.00pm), Beijing8 (12pm-6pm) and Bastardo (12noon-7.00pm).

Via Tribunali

This authentic Neapolitan pizzeria in the heart of the Tori Quarter has a great atmosphere. The menu includes 10 types of pizza plus angioletti (deep fried dough strips, cherry tomatoes, rucola and garlic oil) and insalata caprese (classic mozzarella dibufala with slightly roasted pomodorini, balsamic vinegar, black pepper and basil) for starters. For dessert, try the heavenly homemade tiramisu! Via Tribunali is open on Sundays from 12noon to 8pm, and table reservations are not accepted.
Sofiankatu 4

Gaijin

For modern North Asian flavours try Gaijin, which is open on Sundays from 4pm to 23.00. The menu includes a diverse assortment of tasters that you can share and that are usually served with a bowl of rice. The drinks have been specially selected to suit the strong flavours, and for dessert try the miso cake or dark chocolate mousse.
Bulevardi 6

KuuKuu

KuuKuu is a local neighbourhood bar and kitchen in the Töölö district that serves handmade Finnish treats. There are specially designed three-course set menus to choose from, as well as plenty of items on the à la carte menu – including such classics as the shrimp sandwich and salmon soup. KuuKuu always serves seasonal food, including fish, vegetables, sautéed reindeer and organic meatballs with mashed potatoes and cream sauce. For dessert we recommend a piece of Finnish cheese with jam and rye crisp. KuuKuu is open on Sundays from 12noon to 10pm.
Museokatu 17

Sushibar + Wine

Sushibar + Wine on Fredrikinkatu is very Scandinavian in terms of interior décor and the menu. For starters try the miso soup, edamame soy beans and spicy salads. The sushi list includes sashimi, nigiri and maki, as well as filled rice paper pockets and temaki. There are also poke bowls, special assortments and Finnish spruce ice cream for dessert. Sushibar + Wine is open on Sundays from 2pm to 9pm.

Passio

Passio serves Scandinavian-European cuisine with beers supplied by the local brewery Ohrana and wines from small and personal European wineries. In addition to starters and nine main courses, Passio also offers set menus with three or five courses. You can even order a beer tasting with four different flavours. Passio is open on Sundays from 4pm to 12am.
