La Torrefazione is a bright and spacious breakfast place overlooking the roofs of the city on the top floor of the Kamppi Shopping Centre at the Kortteli restaurant complex. You can also grab a delicious takeaway sandwich and hot coffee to enjoy on your bus or train ride. The breakfast options include smoothie bowls, curds and yoghurts, homemade granola and muesli, cream cheese, smoked hams, vegetables, wholegrain rolls, bagels, croissants and omelettes, plus coffee and fresh juice. Breakfast is served on weekdays from 7:30am to 10am. La Torrefazione also has a smaller café on Aleksanterinkatu, and it is opening another café in Hakaniemi.

Yoga and fresh cakes in Vallila
Roots Helsinki make a morning paradise in the Vallila district. The cosy café opens its doors at 8am, and its breakfast set includes homemade seed bread and spread, dried tomatoes and green shoots, and coffee or tea. On weekdays you can also take part in morning yoga, or you can just sit back and relax under a blanket. You can even enjoy a slice of delicious raw cake with your coffee, if you prefer. Traditional baked barley porridge and cinnamon buns
Inside the Old Market Hall you will find Story, where you can enjoy delicious baked barley porridge and even rice porridge during the Christmas season with a selection of jams to put on top. You can also order omelettes, waffles and freshly baked cinnamon buns. Try also the special coffees from the Helsinki Coffee Roastery, as well as the fresh juices. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10:30am.

Inside the converted redbrick warehouses by the water in Katajanokka you can smell the fresh coffee, listen to cool music and enjoy the cosy atmosphere.
